Nikodem Stolarczyk, MSc, received the Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship awarded by the international organization SPIE for outstanding achievements in optics and photonics in 2021.
Nikodem graduated from physics in 2020, during his studies he was a three-time laureate of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Scholarship for the best students. Currently, he is a Phd student in AST Doctoral School and deals with the study of the impact of collision effects on the shapes of molecular spectral lines from the theoretical and experimental sides under the supervision of dr. hab, Piotr Wcisło, NCU prof. In 2019, he completed a six-month internship at the University of Science and Technology of China. Mr Stolarczyk also implements his own NCN Preludium grant. From the beginning of his studies, he was involved in the activities of faculty students organizations: KNSF, OSA, and SPIE.
