Due to some changes in formal procedures since January 2022 you are responsible for your basic health insurance yourself.
Till December 2021 you were registered by the university and monthly contributions were paid by the NCU, but it is not possible anymore.
You are covered till January 30 (not Jan 31!) and to have a standard health insurance you need to fulfill some paperwork yourself and to pay monthly contributions (55,80 zł - discount rate for doctoral students) yourself.
Please register in NFZ and ZUS as soon as possible and not later then by Friday January 28th.

Please contact your fellow AST PhD students coming from outside EU and check wether this message reaches all colleagues by email.

Arrange a visit at NFZ / ZUS offices preferably with some Polish classmates.
Observe all sanitary rules and wear masks N95.
