Dear PhD students,
the visit in NCU Astronomical Observatory in Piwnice is settled for SATURDAY, APRIL 12TH, 2025.
During the trip there will be two activities organised:
- a 1-1,5h long sighseeing of the observatory (starting at 12:00 p.m. at the parking lot of the observatory)
- a hand-on workshop conducted by Alexander Jabłoński Foundation educators (1-2h) called "Big kid science"
We have a permission to have a little barbecue at the patio of radioastronomy building, so you are welcome to bring some food :)
We plan to get back around 4-5 p.m.
The trip is partially co-founded by ID-UB University Centers of Excellence Astrophysics and Astrochemistry.
